Where do I start?

I suspect everything in editing and writing have changed. It’s to the point where I read my two books and thought they were great.

I didn’t remember them though.

I’ve been at this for a few months. I have found I have to rewrite things after four edits and two days. It’s getting better, believe me.

What happened to me happened decades ago.

I was a reporter with Stripes in Europe. The problem then with blacks is that many Germans had come to hate them. The worst part of the Germans was that they were taking a high number of the local white women to bed.

They gave us beers at the bar. Good beers I’ll note. Fairly soon some of the guys started called the black photographer, and the black unit manager niggers and other things in English.

That started us out in a fight. I was just a five-eight reporter and so I recall was the photographer. We got tossed through the door along the black mangers.

I’ll note the place was on a second floor.

The manager was huge.

I’ll swear to it because the guy was doing pretty well with chairs thrown by Germans.

When we were finally taken to the hospital and treated us for almost nothing. The cops came and arrested us for the bar fight.

Why we were arrested, I don’t know.

It ended up that the caps let us go when they found out we were with Stripes.

This was the best adventure I that.

The point being is that is you wanted to be a journalist you’ll stand a chance of having to save yourself.

Maybe these days could be easier.

Let me know….
